Amy Fortunato

Amy Fortunato is a designer and educator specializing in typography and book design. Her design practice includes collaborations in Los Angeles, Seoul, and New York. She graduated from Otis College of Art and Design in Los Angeles (BFA) and Kookmin University in Seoul (MFA). She lives in Brooklyn and is an Assistant Professor of Design teaching at Queens College CUNY. Her love of working with words, poetic juxtaposition, and challenges to the status quo made What the Dead Can Say the perfect project to collaborate on with Author Unseen.

Emily Goucher

Emily Goucher works on the Web Services Team in Information Technology Services at her alma mater, Sarah Lawrence College. For over 15 years, she has also built and maintained websites for clients in the arts, education, nonprofit, and small business through her freelance enterprise, Digital Emily. In 2015, she established her hosting reseller business, Digital Emily Hosting, to provide even more services to her clients. In her spare time, she enjoys dancing, yoga, and exploring infrastructure.

Emily K Mell

Emily K Mell has loved to draw since she could first pick up a crayon. Though she specializes in comics and cartoons, she found it an enjoyable challenge to bring out the hidden personalities of objects, as illustrator for What the Dead Can Say. She is a graduate of Sarah Lawrence College and lives in New Mexico with her husband, children, dog, and chickens.

Paul Schneggenburger

Paul Schneggenburger is a photographer, filmmaker, and actor. His photography blends reportage and conceptual approaches and often captures fleeting moments, revealing the passage of time in a single frame, especially in his photographic series, “The Sleep of the Beloved.” His work has been exhibited in various galleries, including the Galerie Westlicht in Vienna. He is also a filmmaker with a focus on storytelling and character development, often collaborating with other artists and writers, and as an actor he has played a range of roles, from film to theater.

Author Unseen is the author of What the Dead Can Say.
